Plush Baby Toys

One  of  the very  first toys bought  for babies  are plush baby  toys  because they are soft, comforting and cuddly.  Children will later play with toy trucks, cars, dolls and very soon, computer games.  However, most children will retain fond memories of their first baby plush toys.  Particularly, as these are often used as part of the nursery décor.

The time-tested teddy bear is perhaps the most popular plush toy in existence today, despite the changes in children’s toys and technology over the past few decades.  The advances in manufacturing capability means that soft baby toys are made in the shape of every animal imaginable and with intricate details never before used in plush baby toys. 

Some baby plush toys, partly due to quality of workmanship and partly to popular culture, have become popular as collectibles.  Some have significant value to collectors and are not meant to be a baby toy.  These collectible plush toys also make wonderful gifts, not for the child to play with and cuddle, but to be considered as baby keepsakes.  They are likely to increase in value over the years and will be appreciated by the child much later in life. 

Today, some of the most popular plush baby toys are movie themed and you can bring a smile to a baby’s face by giving them a soft baby toy in the form of their favorite character from television or the movies.
